The Technical Services Department is the backbone of our District's computing and telecommunications infrastructure. Our team is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing wired and wireless networks that connect all schools to the District and the Internet. Our department also oversees a wide range of connected devices, including computers, printers, servers, telephones, intercom systems, clocks, security cameras, stadium/field lighting systems, and HVAC remote management gear. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure classroom technology runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting the District's Future Forward program by configuring 4500 new student Chromebooks annually and maintaining the installed base of 20,000 units. In addition, we are committed to keeping computer servers, workstations, and peripherals in excellent condition. We collaborate closely with each school's Technology Specialists to ensure that classroom technology activities are coordinated and streamlined.
