Special Education Question and Answer Sessions                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Dear Parents, Caregivers and Guardians,
The Special Education Department would like to invite you to join us on the first Friday of each month for an informal question and answer session with our Special Education staff. This is a great opportunity to bring your child’s IEP, ask questions and learn more about our high school district.

DATE: First Friday of every month

TIME: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Community Advisory Committee

Community Advisory Committee

The East County Community Advisory Committee is a partnership of parents, educators and community members from 10 East County school districts working together to promote effective special education programs. Through monthly business meetings, presentations, and community outreach, the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) supports policy development, parent education, and community involvement in matters concerning students with exceptional developmental and educational needs.

The primary function of the CAC is to advise school districts in the East County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) on matters concerning students with exceptional needs. The CAC concerns itself with the development of the Local Special Education Plan, and providing and supporting parent education.
