PUBLIC NOTICE: INTENT TO SUBMIT APPLICATION FOR GRANT

October 19, 2018

Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD), in collaboration with the San Diego County Office of Education, intends to submit an application to the California Department of Education for the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) High School After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) program. If granted, funds will be used to establish after school programs at El Capitan, Valhalla, Granite Hills, Grossmont, IDEA Center, and Santana High Schools. After school programs (currently funded at Monte Vista, Mount Miguel, El Cajon Valley, and Chaparral High Schools) provide participating students with academic assistance and enrichment activities in a safe environment that complement their regular academic program.
