I am new to all this. How do I get a portal account?

  • Although you used Infinte Campus to complete the Online Registration for your student, that did not create a portal account for you.
  • You will receive an email invitation to create your Infinite Campus Parent portal account about two working days after the online registration for your first GUHSD student is approved.
    • Be sure to check your spam folder for the email. 
  • The email will contain a one-use only link. Do not double-click the link.
  • If your student's registration has been processed, you can also click the button below to request an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. Allow at least one business day to receive the email:

Do I need a separate portal account for each of my students?
  • No. You will see all your students in the same portal.
Why can't I just use my student's portal account?
  • Parents and students have separate portal accounts. There are features available to parents that are not available to students.
I did not get the link.
  • If you are using the Outlook email app, you need to add noreply@guhsd.net to your Safe Senders list. (See directions in this article.) After adding noreply@guhsd.net to your safe senders list, request a new link by emailing help@guhsd.net.
  • If you still experience issues, contact Application Support at 619-956-4357 between 7:00 and 4:00, Monday through Friday or email us at applicationsupport@guhsd.net.
The link to create or reset my portal account is not working.
  • Please make sure that you have enabled (allowed) popups and redirects first before clicking the link in the email.
  • To turn pop-ups on or off: On your computer, open Chrome (Safari or IE).
    At the top right, click More, then Settings.
    Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
    Click Pop-ups and redirects.
    At the top, turn the setting to Allowed or Blocked.
I have a portal, but I can't log in.
  • If you already have an Infinite Campus Portal account and have set up a security email, you can get automated help by clicking one of the following on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal Login page
    • Forgot your Password?
    • Forgot your Username?
    • Forgot your Username and Password?

Is there a Quickstart Guide?
Is there an app?
  • Yes, but you must set up your Campus Portal account BEFORE you can use the App on your Smartphone. If you are new to Infinite Campus and need a Portal Account - Request Access to Infinite Campus Portal 
    • Search the App Store for the Campus Parent or Campus Student app and download
    • District Name = Grossmont
    • Enter your username and password that you have already set up
The contact information for me or a family member is incorrect in the Portal.  How do I correct it?
