Welcome to the Risk management department. This department manages the District's worker's compensation program. Administers the District's property and liability claims. Provides counsel and training to operating units concerning injury, illness, and accident prevention, loss control, risk management procedures and related issues. Coordinates the District's property, liability, and student accident insurance programs and communications with the San Diego JPA. Processes student accident reports and claims. Maintain records of coverage, and property/equipment valuations and schedules. Conducts ergonomic assessments.
