Option to Waive Medical Coverage

If you have group coverage elsewhere, you would be eligible to waive your medical coverage with the District and receive an additional $120 of taxable income on a tenthly basis. You would still maintain the rest of your benefit package. You need to provide proof of medical coverage from the other employer or insurance carrier at the time of employment.
