Changing Schools

Changing Schools: School Choice and Interdistrict Transfer

Every student is assigned a school based on where the family lives. School choice is a program that allows parents to choose different GUHSD schools for their students. School choice is only available during the School Choice Window.
Interdistrict Transfers are for students who live outside of the GUHSD boundaries (for example, in San Diego, Chula Vista, etc.) and want to go to a GUHSD school. These types of transfers are also for students who live in our boundaries but want to go to a school in another district.

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

The Infinite Campus Parent Portal is a web-based tool for GUHSD parents that allows you to keep track of grades, attendance, messages from the district, and more. Your student will also have an Infinite Campus Student Portal account.
