Hotel Rwanda
At the end of our unit on the Holocaust, we will studying the Rwandan Genocide. Currently, there is a movie out called Hotel Rwanda that chronicles the event through a hotel manager named Paul Rusesabagina. He desparately attempts to save his family and over 1200 refugees from the certain death. It is an amazing movie that is definitely worth seeing and we are offering extra credit if you see it.
10 points if you submit your ticket stub 20 points if you also write up a 200 word review of the movie
It is only playing a handful of theaters in San Diego County (Fashion Valley and Mira Mesa are the two closest theaters). You can check Sign On San Diego.Com for more information and show times.
