Teresa has been teaching for the Grossmont Union High School District Parent Education program since 2001. Teresa received her AS in Child Development from Southwestern College, attended Cuyamaca College, National University and Sawyer College of Business. She previously worked as a preschool teacher with the La Mesa Spring Valley School District, Head Start and in the private sector. Teresa also taught in the after school clubs and part was part of the Art Docent program for several years in two districts. She started in the Parent Education Program as a student with her 3 children and is currently a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter and a former co-leader for her eldest daughter. Teresa was also part of the preparation and review committee for the Program of Excellence and currently continues to support the Family Literacy Program at the Grossmont Union High School District.
