Introduction

Your team represents a manor in the Humanities kingdom. After a series of bloody battles, the Humanities kingdom soundly defeated a neighboring kingdom. Now each lord is fighting to expand his/her fiefdom. By adding land, the lord's prestige increases and the possibility of taking over the kingdom once the current monarch dies increases. While the lord receives the greatest benefits from victory, all of the residents of the manor will see their standard of living increase - even the serfs!

The Middle Ages is a time where strength determined one's importance and outwitting the opponent is essential to be successful. One the final day of the activity, the King/Queen will hold a tournament to divide up the conquered land. The goal for each group is to win each competition and impress the ruling monarch, including the following of the laws of chivilry.

In complete contrast to Medieval times, the competitions will consist of intellectual jousts that call upon the manors to display their knowledge of Medieval life. A series of scenarios and disasters will strike the manors and their responses will be judged by the King/Queen. Points will be awarded after each competition; the team with the most points at the end of the tournament will be declared the winner.
