Introduction

Under Nazi domination, approximately 6 million Jews were murdered throughout the continent in Europe. Of that 6 million people, it is estimated that 1.5 million were children. As a part of this assignment, you will be assigned a specific child from the Holocaust, you will find out the actual fate of your child at the end of the unit.

Throughout the unit, try and place yourself in the shoes of your children. What would you do? How would you feel? What could you do to survive?
