Standards-based Resources through H-SS Central & SCORE
Dan McDowell, West Hills High, Grossmont Learning Lab 1

Looking for that lesson that meets standard 11.5.4? How about a resource to help you plan for standards 5.4.2? Wondering where to go for all your questions about the social sciences?

The SCORE site has been around for years, and has established itself in California as the premier standards-based site for math, science, language arts, and the social sciences. The downside of SCORE is that new sites are not being added.

History-Social Science Central is a new site being developed by several San Diego County teachers to assist social science teachers in San Diego and the state with standards-based resources and other social science related information. The downside of H-SS Central is that it is a new site and is still under development.
