Through the Blanket of
Day
Through the blanket of day men were seized,
And no one listened to any of their pleads.
They were strained out past the sands,
And were brought into strange new lands.
Through the blanket of day lives were taken away,
And be worked for no or low pay.
In doing so the whites were cruel,
But somehow appeared to drool.
Through the blanket of day peoples lives went corrupt,
And minds that were open now remain shut.
All that was whole and good for all,
Was taken and broken and said it was the black mans fall.
Through the blanket of day men were given no sleep,
Because they were dragged through the forest deep.
They were told to forget about their lives,
And leave their dependent wives.
Through the blanket of day people thought it was the end,
Because the beastly white would not show them around the bend.
When is the end to all the murder,
When is the end to all the horror.

Take up the Black mans
burden
Facing hardships everyday Doing hard exhausting labor for very little
pay.
Collanize their land and try to make them right.
Then killing them off if they put up a fight.
Say what you are doing is for the better good.
You say your making them more civilized like you should.
Destroying a culture 100s of years old,
Then send them away, off to be sold.
When you realize that what you are doing is wrong.
You are putting these people in a place were they dont
belong.
You are separating families, driving them apart.
Watching them sob as you break their hart.
Sending the mother to England sending the farther to Spain.
Then to see their children crying in vain.
The ships have now gone off to sea.
The people inside never again will be free.

TO. . .
To take a child's life away,
and make the child go astray,
To make them work in mines,
for nothing more than dimes,
To have laws set for you,
and nothing there for you to do,
To break them within time,
you will have to be a mime,
To have man decieve your choices,
and them not hearing your voices,
To have no one to turn to,
what exactly can you do,
To speak out,
no...there is no doubt,
To stand up and be heard,
no, that's not for a nerd,
To do what is right,
there does not have to be spite,
To critcize these choices made,
why. . . you should not have to be a slave.

Negative vs. Positive
Why delve on what is
negative?--
Stay pure and innocent--
Why revolve your life around something you hate?--
Is it not controversial,
To constantly think about something you despise?
If you dislike something with a strong passion,
Convert your energy into something positive.
To focus on the negative,
You are not improving or making it any better.
Repair, conclude, devise, rebuild, conceive--
Something of greatness for yourself and others.
Bring forth the better in the world--
But most important yourself.
Why delve on what is negative?
Again I ask longing for answers--
But it is right there in front of me,
Maybe the world is not negative but--
People who constantly think it, make it.

The white man is the
strong
So thinks the white man
White man enslaves innocent human beings
Because of color man is so ignorant
Enslaving many men whom have no greed
White man just wants money
If the white man was not so blind
He could see past his confusion
White man is stuborn
Can he not past greed
If the white man was enslaved
What would he have said
Why can't the white man understand
If only the white man was enslaved
Would he understand the complication
Because he thinks he is so strong
How much better would this world be
If only the white man could see.

Abolish Slavery!!!
Abolish Slavery says I
For nothing can be of more wrong!
They say they have motives,
But give me one to enslave my people.
Religion is the biggest one,
Yet isn't it true we have our own gods.
Why must they act as gods, as if they are superior
We aren't judged by our outside, but our inside color.
They are of no greater status than we are.
So I say it again, my people
Abolish Slavery and all it stands for!!
Let us come together, not as enemies but as friends.
We are brothers and sisters so let us come and
Take away that of the white men.
Come brothers, come sisters, we can all help to
Abolish Slavery Forever!!!!

Take up "The Human Race"
We shall overcome
The past we can't forget
We can all work together
Take up "The Human Race"
No race is stronger
From ocean to ocean
We have all shed blood
For the one who was strong
Take up "The Human Race"
With all his different customs
We can learn from each other
And respect what we bring
Take up "The Human Race"
If we all bind as one
And work for our common goal
We can all overcome
Our great misfortunes of the past.

"The Dumb Man is a
Burden"
The Dumb Man is a Burden,
because they don't think they are one.
so they talk about whoever they want,
and buy and sell people like nothing.
The Dumb Man is a Burden,
because they don't realize they are wrong.
they don't care who they hurt,
they just are worried about their own personal gain.
The Dumb Man is a Burden,
because they are willing to fight for something wrong.
they will fight anyone for slaves,
because they think they are right.
The Dumb Man is a Burden,
because they want slaves.
The Smart Man's Burden,
is that dumb men don't listen.

Go to Africa and take over
their city
Dress them up and make them pretty
They are all savages and must learn the way of the British
So they dont speak that stupid gibberish
Make sure they convert and if they refuse
Kill their families and tell them the bad news
Dont listen to their pleas and cries
Everything they say is a bunch of lies
They need us and will definitely disappear
We must control then and stay very near
We need raw materials to trade and sell
If they dont like it tell them to go to H*ll
We will take over and make them our slaves
If they try to run, give them early graves
They have so many things that we need
If they dont give it to us make them bleed
They have no god and have no morals
They only have those tribal quarrels
Make them suffer and make them pay
Steal their children and burn their houses
Rape their wives and kill their spouses
They will never be real, they will never be true
But what is real?

From continent to
continent
Blacks have met whites,
Whites have met blacks
New laws have been made
Old laws have been broken
This is the human burden
Years and years have passed
The young have become the old
The old have become the wise
Overtime people change,
Although some stay the same
Unfairness is shown
People are discrminated
Violence has arose,
Yet there is no point
This is the human burden.
