The resources available on this site have been categorized by type. Course Overview A look at the entire year in modern world history as taught by Dan and Scott. This will allow the teacher to see where the materials could fit in their individual curriculum. Teachers should feel free to use the resources on this site in whatever manner best suits their teaching style and course curriculum. Viewing Guides These viewing guides will assist your students as they begin to closely examine historical images. Art History This section of the site contains materials used to integrate art history throughout the world history curriculum. It includes several PowerPoint presentations that can be viewed online or downloaded as well as the History Through Art WebQuest (culminating project). Propaganda Students examine basic propaganda techniques used during wartime and everyday life. Students study how governments "create an enemy" to mobilize a nation to hate and kill. Photographs While photographs can (and should) be used throughout the curriculum, this section only contains information surrounding the events of World War I. There is a downloadable PowerPoint presentation and a poetry activity to accompany it.
