BlackBoard has ample documentation and when you subscribe (actually pay!) for the service there is product support team that will respond to issues and problems.
As part of the nature of the open source movement, documentation for PostNuke is sporadic. For example, the forum had an extensive user manual, but for PagEd, as far as I can tell, the only documentation is in Italian and German.
For the purpose of this demonstration, Distance-Educator Webmaster Vanessa Haakenson assisted with several of the problems I faced.
Advantage: BlackBoard
If you are not a programmer or already familiar with PostNuke, it can be vert frustrating. Support is absolutely necessary and it is built into BlackBoard (for a price, of course).
