| TB testing, although mandatory, is available through the district at no charge.
You must call and schedule an appointment at 619-644-8020. If we do not have testing available to meet your needs, you can also use public health or your private physician. TB must be valid within 60 days of employment unless you are transferring from another school district in California.

District TB testing dates and spaces are limited. It is your responsibility to have this done in a timely manner. Testing may be done by an outside agency, however, there is no reimbursement if fees are incurred.
$ Chest x-rays will only be accepted if accompanied by proof of a previous positive skin test. If HR has documentation on file stating that you have had a positive skin test followed by a negative chest x-ray, you do not need to have another x-ray. Call Human Resources @ 644-8020 to confirm and ask for a “green form” to be sent to you to complete and return to HR.
