How do I use the School Locator?

To use the School Locator, we recommend that you have a bill from SDG&E, the phone company, or other company that provides your full address. Be sure to enter all elements of your address (excluding space or apartment number), as the simple difference of including street type (examples: Court; Avenue; Lane; Street) can make a difference in the school your student will attend. 

Important: Before actually visiting a school to enroll, please be sure to call them first to verify, as other circumstances may affect enrollment.

In order to have your browser display the most up-to-date information available, you will need to change a setting as described below. Instructions are for Windows. Mac users substitute Edit > Preferences for Tools > Options.

Click on the "Tools" pull-down and select "Internet Options...". In the window that appears and under the "General" tab, "Temporary Internet Files", click on the button in the middle right labeled, "Settings". In the window that appears and under, "Check for newer versions of stored pages", click on the button next to "Every visit to the page". Click "OK" until you are back at your original page view.

Click on the Tools pull-down menu and select Options. Click the Advanced tab and select the Network sub-tab. Replace the default value with 0 (zero) for cache disk space and click "OK".
