Guidelines for submitting web site features

One of the primary purposes of the District web site is to keep our major constituencies informed. It is up to you, the information provider, to ensure that material meets the following guidelines for inclusion on the HOME, PARENTS, STAFF or STUDENT pages before submitting items to Lina Liang This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Please include...

  • Article title*: 6 - 8 words maximum
  • Intro text (optional): A single summarizing sentence. Long text will be truncated.
  • Body text or URL: Full description reviewed for clarity as well as grammar and spelling. For links, include full address beginning with http://
  • Supporting document(s): Saved as PDF file(s) optimized for the web and each under 10 MB in size.  File names should be no more than 28 characters long and must not include special characters such as /,":#@!&, etc. Lower-case for alpha characters is preferred.
  • Document title(s)*: Concise plain English self-explanatory name(s). Special characters are OK.
  • Where to post: please specify by url, if you require to post it on the website, that is too general.
  • Graphic: required for items that will appear in the rotating feature window. Saved in JPEG, GIF or PNG format at a size of at least 500 pixels wide x 300 pixels high and suitable for the web site. Image should be appropriate and look professional
  • Beginning and ending publication date*
  • Your name and/or approving supervisor's name*
