
The International Newcomers Center (INC) welcomes new high school students (grades 9-12) whose first language is not English and who have not previously attended school in the United States. The goal of the INC is to help students make a smooth transition into Grossmont Union High Schools. The center assesses English and primary language and math skills, recommends placement, creates a student profile, evaluates school transcripts, and advises students and families on course selection. The INC also provides information on graduation requirements, available school programs, and community resources. For more information, please download:
