Monies are not refundable. Delays can be caused by many factors out of our control. We cannot guarantee when or if a person will clear.

Fingerprint fees are $49, but out of state residents are required to pay $24 for additional fingerprinting. Food Service Assistant 1 workers are not required to pay.

*** Minors must have parent permission in writing. ***

Two forms of identification will be required. Drivers License and Social Security are preferred. Social Security cards are required for paid positions.

You must have completed paperwork, including a fingerprint referral card signed by a school administrator.

ID card pictures will be taken at the time of fingerprinting, and issued only after clearances have been met. Please dress accordingly.

Following the procedures we have described may help eliminate delays. It is our desire to make the processing as easy as possible.

In addition to offering fingerprinting service for GUHSD employees, the District contracts to provide this service with the following school districts:

Alpine, Cajon Valley, Dehesa, Grossmont / Cuyamaca, Jamul-Dulzura, Mt. Empire, Literacy First Charter

Anyone interested in obtaining a contract can do so through Business Services by contacting Catherine Melick, at 619-644-8010.

TB Testing

TB testing, although mandatory, is available through the district at no charge. You must call and schedule an appointment at 644-8190. If we do not have testing available to meet your needs, you can also use public health or your private physician. TB must be valid within 60 days of employment unless you are transferring from another school district in California.
