Cal-Safe Services Our program provides an all encompassing learning environment and academic success for the teens while promoting healthy development for their children. All Cal-Safe services are free to students and their families. For The Teens: * Nutritional supplements are provided for pregnant and nursing teens * Tokens for trolley / bus for medical services * Transportation to Grossmont High School or El Cajon Valley High School * Counseling and support for teens and their families * Classes on human development, family life skills, career education and ROP * Health, prenatal, and child development classes * Referral to various agencies to help students access support services For The Children: * A Quality childcare and developmental program for the children of teens * A safe childcare center that meets state licensing regulations * Developmental curriculum that addresses the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, linguistic, and cultural needs of each child * Nutritional meals and snacks * Quarterly developmental profiles for each child, with goal setting and parent conferences * Quality staff trained and educated in child development and early childhood education |
