Lambertha (Bep) Stier
Subjects taught: Vocational Nursing Clinical

Ms. Stier is a clinical instructor in the Vocational Nursing program. She teaches second and third semester medical-surgical rotations at Kaiser Hospital. When she started teaching at HOC in the fall of 2006, Ms. Stier was already an experienced teacher; previously, she had been a full-time VN instructor at Maric College, where she taught all subjects for first semester students.

Ms. Stier says that she has almost always been (and continues to be!) in school. She holds both Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) Degrees. She also holds Masters degrees in Health Science and Public. She is currently working on her PhD in Nursing and Health Sciences at University of San Diego.

A native of Holland, Ms. Stier is a lover of nature and the great outdoors. She and her husband love to hike in the high country. She also sings, which, she says, keeps her breathing well for those long treks in the mountains.
