Subjects Taught: Vocational Nursing (VN) Clinical Instructor Farahnaz Danandeh has taught VN medical/surgical clinical groups at HOC since 2004. She received both Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters in Nursing degrees from Tehran, Iran. After teaching Nursing for 11 years at a prominent university in Tehran, she married and moved to the United States in 1996. Ms. Danandeh continued to work as a Registered Nurse when she arrived in San Diego. Ms. Danandeh and her husband have a nine-year-old son and she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys nature, gardening, walking, hiking and traveling. She spends a lot of time reading about a variety of medical/nursing topics to make sure that her knowledge and skills stay current with research in the field. Ms. Danandeh takes a positive approach to teaching, focusing on creating
a respectful environment and accommodating individual learning styles
in order to maximize learning and help her students become the very best
nurses they can possibly be. |
