Computers in the Library
Rules for using the computers in the library:
Computers are for research and word processing. In using the computers, you
must follow these regulations:
- Games are not permitted.
- You cannot use chat rooms on the Internet.
- E-mail is not to be used for non-school purposes. It is not private.
- You may not download music, music videos, games or movies on the library
computers.
- Only one person may sit at a workstation at a time.
- Your ID card is required to use the computers and must be placed in the
ID card holder on top of the workstation.
- Printing costs $.10 per page. Do not print unless you are prepared to pay
for it.
- Viewing of inappropriate material on the Internet is forbidden. Review the
Internet Ethics Code if you have any questions.
- Do not attempt to alter system folders, icons or make ANY changes on the
system.
- Please "quit" your programs when you are through.
- Disobeying these rules can result in a referral and loss of computer priviliges
in the library!
