Grossmont Union High School District

The California Department of Public Health’s Public Health Guidance for K-12 Schools and Child Care Settings to Support Safe In-Person Services and Mitigate the Spread of Communicable Diseases, 2023-2024 School Year is guided by the “principle that safe, in-person learning is critical to student well-being and development.”

That same principle has guided the Grossmont Union High School District since it opened for in-person instruction in September 2020, and it continues to do so today. As we work closely with state and local public health agencies, and continue to follow all public health guidelines, GUHSD is firmly committed to providing safe in-person and Independent Study options for our students.
