What is AP?

The Advanced Placement Program offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses and exams in high school and earn college credit, advanced placement, or both at many colleges and universities in the U.S. and around the world. By earning college credit in high school and skipping introductory courses in college, your can save time and money as they work toward a college degree.

2022-2023 AP Testing

The 2023 AP Exams will be administered over two weeks in May:
  • May 1–5 and
  • May 8–12

2023 AP Exams

 
Cost is $97 per exam (GUHSD students). If you believe you qualify for a fee waiver, please speak with your site AP Coordinator.
Deadline to order exams for May 2023 testing is Nov. 4th, 2022. If you decide to order after this date, College Board charges a $40 late fee. Also, if a student cancels their exam after Nov. 4th, 2022, College Board will charge a $40 cancelation fee. See your school site for more details.
