Risk Management
Welcome to the Risk Management department. This department:
- Manages the District's worker's compensation program.
- Administers the District's property and liability claims.
- Provides counsel and training to operating units concerning injury, illness, and accident prevention; loss control, risk management procedures and related issues.
- Coordinates the District's property, liability, and student accident insurance programs and communications with the San Diego JPA.
- Processes student accident reports and claims.
- Maintain records of coverage, and property/equipment valuations and schedules.
- Conducts ergonomic assessments.
